The Passito Bukkuram "Sole d'Agosto" by De Bartoli beautifully tells the territory in which it is born. We are in Pantelleria in the district Bukkuram, whose name means "father of the vineyard". And this is the area that the Arabs favored for the cultivation of the vine and, in particular, of Zibibbo. An historic territory with a great good fortune: is the only hill of the entire island of Pantelleria to be exposed to the South-West; we are 200 meters above sea level, with the vineyards that are caressed by the wind and kissed by the sun. Marco De Bartoli has always been proud of this his sweet, a raisin able to tell the scents and can offer the character of the island. Why is it called "Sole d'Agosto"? The name has an history all its own: in Pantelleria, even more than in other areas, the harvest has, every year, several potential and unexpected. The month of August is more delicate, because it is the month in which the grapes are left to dry naturally. That's why the beauty of Bukkuram "Sole d'Agosto" is inextricably linked by the sun of August. The Passito Bukkuram "Sole d'Agosto" by De Bartoli is able to move thanks to its aromas and its perfumes: notes of ginger combine beautifully with bergamot and candied fruit. In the mouth it is soft, elegant, with an infinite persistence. Passito Bukkuram "Sole d'Agosto" by De Bartoli: A sweet young perfectly able to tell the wonder and fascination of the land from which it comes.
