Vermentino "Merì" is a wine originating from the pure grapes of that white grape variety, symbolizing the entire island of Sardinia, Vermentino. The vines grow in vineyards with a calcareous-clayey subsoil, and the grapes, once brought to the winemaking premises, are gently pressed and fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-17 degrees Celsius for about 15-20 days. Then comes the maturation phase, which takes place in steel tanks for several months. The wine is ready to be bottled and marketed at the end of this process.
The "Merì" wine is a Vermentino that, visually, presents itself with a straw-yellow colour, light and not too intense. The nose is lively and youthful, with an olfactory profile of fruity notes enriched by more floral hints.
