Located in the renowned appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, on the left bank of the Rhône, Domaine Duseigneur is today one of the most interesting realities in the French wine scene. The history of the winery is rooted in a family tradition spanning five generations, which began in Saint Laurent des Arbres, on the opposite bank of the river. Since 2002, Bernard Duseigneur has taken on the legacy of his father and brother, bringing back to the center of his life the culture of wine and the bond with the Mediterranean land. Since 2007, he has collaborated with Philippe Faure-Brac, elected best sommelier in the world in 1992, sharing the passion for terroirs and the pursuit of excellence.
The philosophy of Domaine Duseigneur is based on biodynamics, a practice aimed at enhancing the natural energy of the soils and strengthening the balance between plant and environment. The variety of soils – from red clays to limestone pebbles, from marine sands to alluvial sediments – gives the wines a great complexity and identity. The vineyards on the right bank of the Rhône, between Saint Laurent des Arbres and Saint Victor la Coste, also express finesse thanks to the cooler exposures. The quality of the wine comes from the daily work in the vineyard, listening to nature and respecting its rhythms, with the aim of conveying a vibrant and sustainable cultural heritage.
The symbol of Domaine Duseigneur is the Astrolabe, an ancient navigation instrument inspired by the cosmos, which recalls the influence of celestial forces on biodynamic practice. Among the most representative labels are the reds of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, accompanied by elegant wines from the areas of Lirac and Laudun. Each bottle tells a journey, an emotion, and an authentic philosophy of life.
