The Franciacorta Rosé Millesimato ‘Redigoli’ from the wine estate of Elisabetta Abrami is a sparkling wine that is appreciated for its crisp aromas of flowers and red fruits. The name of this label, produced for the first time with the 2018 vintage, comes from the name of the single plot from which the grapes are sourced, planted exclusively with Pinot Nero and cultivated under organic farming practices.
The ‘Redigoli’ Franciacorta Rosé Millesimato by Elisabetta Abrami is made exclusively from Pinot Nero grapes grown according to the principles of organic agriculture. The harvest is done by hand in crates, and the bunches are then vinified in rosé through a skin maceration in a pneumatic press. This is followed by the alcoholic fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks and oak barriques thanks to the inoculation of selected yeasts, and after a few months, the sparkling base is bottled and added with sugars and yeasts for refermentation according to the Metodo Classico. The aging sur lattes lasts for about 30 months, at the end of which the disgorgement and the subsequent Brut dosage take place.
To the eye, the Franciacorta ‘Redigoli’ Elisabetta Abrami Rosé Millesimato reveals a pale and clear pink color with a fine and continuous effervescence. The aromatic profile is broad and elegant, composed of sensations of red fruits, rose, and violet that blend with hints of bakery. The progression on the palate is refined and enveloping in its creamy effervescence, with a pronounced fresh-salty verve that accompanies the persistent mineral and fruity perceptions on the finish. An ideal Franciacorta to celebrate joyful occasions with friends and family, even better when paired with platters of cured meats and lightly aged cheeses or with seafood dishes that are not overly elaborate.
