The Lugana Ca’ Lojera is a white wine in which the savory component noticeable on the palate denotes an indelible trademark. Pleasantness, authenticity, and aromatic cleanliness give this label a highly enjoyable profile at the table, where Lugana feels at home both during the aperitif and throughout the meal, perhaps paired with first courses dressed with light sauces. A bottle ready now, but not afraid to face one or two more years of rest in glass, thus presenting itself with a more golden color and even more intense aromas.
This Lugana Ca’ Lojera originates from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, locally called “Turbiana.” The vines grow in the vineyards surrounding the renowned municipality of Sirmione, characterized by a subsoil mainly composed of white clays. The selected grapes, after the destemming operations, proceed to the pressing phase; the must obtained ferments in stainless steel containers at controlled temperature. The wine then remains for a few months to stabilize in steel, until it is ready to be bottled and put on the market.
The Ca’ Lojera Lugana presents itself to the eye with a straw yellow color, characterized by some slight reflections tending towards greenish. The combination of aromas that spread to the nose is interesting, marked by touches of fruit – even with exotic nuances – and a menthol hint, from which very slight floral puffs emerge. On the palate, it is light-bodied, with a sip of clear savory imprint, also enhanced by a fresh dimension that engages the entire sip in its development. A Lugana classic and traditional, which faithfully interprets the vineyards that peacefully overlook Lake Garda.
