Brice
In the heart of Champagne, in the prestigious Grand Cru village of Bouzy, lies the historic Maison Brice, an independent and family-run establishment that represents nine generations of deep ties to the local viticulture. Its origins date back to the 17th century when the ancestral families of the Brice cultivated the first vineyards in a village that then had just thirty inhabitants. The family house was built in 1764 and is still an integral part of the estate today. The Maison cultivates 12 hectares of vineyards, 8 of which are classified as Grand Cru, with parcels also in Aÿ, Cramant, and Verzenay, confirming Brice's central role in the wine landscape of the region. A commitment that combines tradition and vision, offering expressive and identity-rich champagnes, strongly tied to the terroir.
familial, with an average age of the plants of 45 years. In addition to the owned vineyards, the family has established trusted collaborations with other local vignerons, directly managing 5 hectares of Premier Cru located in Grauves and Hautvillers, in organic conversion. The harvest is carried out by a dedicated team, hosted in-house, ensuring accurate selections, collection by lieu-dit, and maximum attention to the quality of the grapes, fully respecting the rhythms of nature.
In addition to producing prestigious blended cuvées, the Maison stands out for the vinification of Bouzy Rouge, a rare and refined expression of Pinot Noir. The cellars, partly dug into the chalk, preserve the ancient soul of the house and welcome enthusiasts from all over the world for visits and tastings. The oenological direction is entrusted to Christophe Constant, a professional with extensive experience in the region, who guides the vinifications while maintaining the distinctive style of the Maison: elegance, minerality, and strong territorial identity. Champagne Brice thus confirms itself as a center of excellence, capable of authentically expressing the essence of the Grand Cru territory.
