The Domaine François Pinon is a historic estate in the Loire Valley, located in the Touraine area and operating within the territory of the Appellation Vouvray. The estate was founded in 1786 and has been managed in the spirit of tradition for eight generations. Today, the company is led by François Pinon, who after working for about ten years as a child psychologist, decided in 1987 to leave his medical career to fully dedicate himself to the family vineyards. Since 2018, he has been joined by his son Julien, who helps him in the vineyard and cellar. The property covers a total area of 15 hectares, divided into several parcels, with about half of the vines aged between 40 and 70 years. The vines were planted with a high planting density of 6,600 plants per hectare, ensuring low yields and excellent quality grapes.

It possesses remarkable oenological versatility, allowing the production of sparkling wines, still white wines, late harvest wines, and dessert wines. Thanks to its natural acidity, Chenin Blanc produces very long-lived wines, which over time develop interesting tertiary aromas. Since 1987, the vineyards have been managed with respect for the environment, and since 2003 the company has been certified under Ecocert organic farming regulations and operates without the use of herbicides, insecticides, and chemical fertilizers, in order to preserve the local flora and fauna.
