Tenuta d'Asolo Progress
The Tenuta d'Asolo Progress Country & Wine House is located in a beautiful panoramic area in the heart of the Asolo hilly area. The project was born from the desire of Dennis Bordin and his wife Beatrice to showcase and enhance a territory rich in natural and artistic beauties. An oasis of calm and well-being, immersed in the greenery of a landscape of great charm. At the center of the property, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, is Villa Rinaldi, a magnificent 17th-century residence inspired by Palladian architecture. In addition to producing wine and oil, the estate also manages an Agriturismo with nine luxurious Apartment Suites, allowing guests to fully experience the countryside.
The viticulture of Asolo has ancient origins, and as early as the Middle Ages, Benedictine monks cultivated the vine on the hills around the village. Even today, the vine shapes the landscape and constitutes an important resource for the territory's agriculture. The agricultural estate hosts vineyards and olive groves, all managed according to the principles of organic farming, without any use of chemical preparations. Sulfur and copper are used very sparingly, only when essential to combat powdery mildew and downy mildew, to impact the natural ecosystem as little as possible. The ultimate goal is to create a healthy habitat rich in biodiversity, allowing for the maturation of genuine grapes with rich aromas. The vineyards cover a total area of nine hectares divided into five parcels with very sunny exposure. The soils are composed of limestone and clay and are particularly suited for viticulture, especially for the cultivation of Glera, the white grape at the base of Asolo Prosecco Superiore production, although there are also vineyards of Pinot Nero and Recantina.
The winery has been designed with a modern and functional layout using cutting-edge technologies, double-chamber presses, destemmer-crushers, and the use of CO2 to work in the protection of oxygen and avoid oxidation of musts and wines. Regarding vinification, the winery uses tanks made of concrete, stainless steel, and wooden vats, which are used according to the type of labels. The wines of the winery are crafted with artisanal care, in order to enhance the work in the vineyard and the excellent quality of the grapes.
