The Domaine Yuka & Clotaire Michal is a small winemaking reality located in Saint-Étienne-la-Varenne, in the heart of southern Beaujolais. Clotaire Michal, after an experience as a sommelier in London, decides to return to France and fully dedicate himself to the land and the vineyard, trying to translate his passion into authentic and natural wines. The history of the company takes shape in 2013 with the purchase of a property of only three hectares, characterized by a soil rich in pink granite and sand, with traces of quartz, capable of transmitting a unique energy that has captivated the winemaker. In the French winemaking landscape, the company stands out for the production of natural and traditional wines, far from the popularity of Beaujolais Nouveau, focusing on authenticity, longevity, and respect for local terroirs, and contributing to redefining the identity of the region.
