Genuardi Sergio
The Genuardi Sergio winery is born from a deep connection with the Sicilian territory and the desire to create wines that are authentic expressions of the land and tradition. Located in the heart of the Monti Sicani, at an altitude between 550 and 600 meters, the winery overlooks the Valle del Platani, an area rich in history and beauty. Founded in 2016, when Sergio Genuardi decided to return to his homeland after attending the Faculty of Viticulture and Enology in Palermo, the company develops on a vineyard of just 1.3 hectares. Here, the winemaker has chosen to dedicate himself to a project that expresses his personal vision of a "rebellious" wine, capable of telling the symbiosis between man and territory. The cultivated grapes – Nero d'Avola, Perricone, and Catarratto – take root in chalky-limestone soils, which give the wines a unique character and a strong bond with nature.

This approach, which considers low yields and high quality, allows for wines that tell their story and uniqueness. The management of the vineyard is completely manual, from mowing the grass cover to harvesting, passing through the work of the under-row. Each phase is designed to minimize mechanical intervention and preserve the natural balance, reducing the use of chemicals, pesticides, and herbicides to a minimum.sustainable.
